Pdf Reader

Can the pandora read a pdf book out the box? or only txt files till someone writes a program for that for it?

It will come will Evince installed.
It's an excellent PDF reader, so much so that it makes me wonder how on earth Adobe reader and even Foxit manage to be so slow.

i plan to use my pandora for DMing in D&D. good to know ill have something to use out of the box for pdfs

Evince. Hm. Must try it. I'm at work and I must sometimes scroll through 300+ pages of scanned papers in PDF-format. And Adobes reader is slooow.

never tryed evince, but foxit is already a magnitude faster than adobe reader...

Well, even poppler (evince and okular's backend) can be very slow, when rendering PDF's with patterns in them...
