Phone Calls From The Pandora?

Like any other VoIP/equivalent phone system, this requires internet access. Most anyone would be interested to use the Pandora as a cellular device, but it isn't practical due to high data plan prices in most areas.

Except the Pandora has wifi and with the addition of a USB WiMax or 3G card, internet connectivity on cell towers.

  • Wifi doesn't exist everywhere.
  • As I already said, data plans on cellular networks are not practical enough to tempt (most).

Java: Not in the US anyway... In the UK, they're becoming slowly on par with landline-based broadband, albeit not quite so fast. The only thing is you have to make really sure you read the fine print and be certain that unlimited really is unlimited, which much of the time it isn't.
