I think it would be nice if anyone ported the good 'ol Pirates! to the GP32 :)

Or, even better and easier, as there are already sources: FreeCiv :)

Civilisation would be the ultimate - just remember civ is available for the snes...

But I think a dos emulator would be more worthwhile to emulate both of these games - instead of ports..I'd understand why people want a port for say quake\half life or something which requires the full attention of the cpu\processing power but not for older games which can be emulated.

Why not even do a Atari st emulator - both of these games are available on the st?

Well theres a c64 emulator and pirates came out on c64 and ive played that game it was great. and maybe there was civ for c64 too.

Yeah, Civ for the SNES works quite well... but a bit slow.
And there is an opensource project named "FreeCiv", so I guess it's easier
to port it that write a DOS emulator :)

And my idea for Pirates! came with Frodo - it doesn't work yet
(actually, it seems I'm a real unlucky guy - most C64 games I love don't work with Frodo at the moment... like MULE, Alter Ego, Impossible Mission, Pirates, Archon, Bruce Lee, Bomb Jack, Racing Destruction Set, Road Runner, etc.), but it's a pretty impressive beta release, I guess nearly all games will work with sound 100% speed :))

What about a troncycles game or a maze game? I could make one i think.
