Do all ratchet and clank and all spyro and all crash bandicoot and all batman and all donkey kong & all yoshi island and ect...play on pandora if not will it play in near future

The Pandora plays PSP and Nintendo DS games pretty well, and most games before that era. Dreamcast emulation is also available. Ratchet and Clank started on the PS2, so it is not possible to play them on the Pandora.

That would be a weird bot, as he also asked that in a mail he sent me :)
Was it to an email address linked on these boards?

Looking at the posts from preston made me think 'he' might be a bot as well.

There are Two Ratchett and Clank Games on the PSP: Size Matters, and Secret Agend Clank, but im unsure if they work as there 3D Games..

Yoshis Island, and Yoshis Island DS both work great,

Thitnt tried PSP as therefor i have my PSVITA..

Ds Emulation is quite well..

Guys, don't answer bot messages :)
I'm with Ed as I answered several E-Mail he sent to the support system over the past two weeks, all with questions that where too specific to be a bot (except if it would be a bot specialized on the Pandora).Maybe it is just his approach on things ?

If there's one thing the topic of this thread isn't missing it's a verb. ;)

(though of course, it would need somewhat more than just a verb to be useful)

Did you ever get a sensible reply to the email replies you sent?

My strong suspicion is still that Preston is a bot, albeit an advanced one. As for Pandora specialisation my guess is that the bot has simply scanned the contents of the forum and used 'his' algorithms to come up with vaguely sensible questions. Posts such as 'Will pandora have updates on YouTube' do not seem to have human intelligence behind them from my perspective.

It is slightly worrying that intelligent people can be fooled by chat bots, or wrongly believe that a human is in fact a bot, in the sense that in a few years time it will probably become nearly impossible to easily distinguish a bot from a human.

no replies, just questions:

  • "Do all the Pandora play all game from atari to now if so it games already on it or do I have to download it if I have to download how can I ."
  • "Where in gemany is u office what address"
  • "What difference bout gcw zero and pandora. Should I buy pandora or gcw and tell me why"
  • "Is the gcw faster than the Pandora" "Can gcw have Internet" "Can gcw play games from the first video games until now"
  • "What is OS GIT and when will it be on pandora"
  • "Is pandora good to use"

im sure, Its bot. After next scan it will check, if this topic still exist then it flags the correct sentence = truth to use it on similar boards with similar content but with pyra/pandora swapped to "vita 2" :D ..

Oh, most people fall for phishing tricks in their email, there's no need to imagine skynet scenarios. Old tricks still work and will work very well.

And I've been saying this is a bot in several topics yet people still answer, so if people don't even appeal to their good sense even simple solutions will work on them.

I've noticed that bots tend to have [not necessarily perfect but] reasonably good spelling and grammar. The only people that make copious mistakes are... well... people. And this message is full of signature "I'm a people that doesn't speak English as a first language and may be too young or too old to care" mistakes.

Well, if the bot engine did its first training runs on forums filled with such posts? :)

I still don't get it, though. What is the point of the bot? Just training the language recognition algorithms, or trying to build up a familiarity so that it can switch over to fishing attempts later, or is there some other interesting attack vector here that I'm not seeing?

If recognition of topics content on boards will be on high level, and test-post [like, in here] wouldnt be deleted, then you could just fill boards with topics content  releated to this boards. The topic will be generally okay [from admin's POV ] , but it will contain a lot of sublime adverts.. [maybe even without links/url's.. ]

For example: advertising retro-shops, retro-gadgets.. etc

Example:

"Can i buy an OpenPandora somewhere in net? Do they sell it in Willgo? or DealExtreme?"

Maybe it might not be visible on first sight that this is advert, but it is..
