Hi all,
I really need help.
Yesterday I received my new Pandora.
I'm testing all and the power button doesn't work.
I move it in first, in second or try to reset but nothing....

Also to switch Pandora on I have to leave the battery and re-insert it. :(

There is some manner to fix??

HELP ME Please

Thanks in advance

Just to be sure...
you pushed the powerswitch all the way to the right? correct?

when you pandora is turned on, can you then shutdown the pandora by keep pressing the powerswitch to the right and holding it for about 5-10 sec?
if you do that then there should popup a message that say something like "shutting pandora down in 5..4..3..2..1"

If you did and nothings happend then it sounds like that there might be something wrong with the power switch.

Hmmm i hate to say this but i would send a mail to where you bought your pandora and explaine what wrong with it.

You might have to send it back to get it fixed.

It is not possibile that a cable is not connected??

The power switch is a SMD device (CSS-1311TB) so there is no cable to connect.

As gmale says then it mounted directly on the board.

I wouldent fix it my self cause that might would ruin you warrany but instead send it back and get it fixed.

If you want to open up ..

The power switch is two bits -- the component on the PCB is a tiny little switch with a tiny little plastic bit that sticks out. The other part is the case-side slider, a little black plastic bit with a hole in the back, and the slider fits over the little bit on the component on the pcb, as well as sliding back and forth in the case-slot.

It could be that the case-bit is just off the little bit on the component (easy fix), or it could be the little bit on the component got broken off (annoying, but could perhaps repair with glue etc. But in your case, if thats the case, may want to RMA it, but talk to your supplier.)

IT WORKS!!!!!
I had no remark the power switch stop a little bit short....
I force a little bit and now it works!!! (the switch not arrive to the end but now the contact works)
