Thanks for the suggestion, I deleted the script I was using... didn't make any difference.
It seems like noone is having a similar problem. I'll try copying all the files back again to the SD card.
This is beginning to sound like SD card issues... I'll try my other 1GB card to see if that makes a difference.
May even also be the way the card is formatted, I don't think I formatted it at all when I bought it.
I have the same problem on a 2GB A-data card. I thought it was freezing as well i waited about 3 minutes before turning it off. I guess I need to wait longer?.... o well
