Hi,

We are a French digital museum, since 1988 ( http://wda-fr.org ).

We are keeping all digital stuff, and restore it for their future preservation.

We bought a Pandora since 10 february 2010 (277,24 £), and we never received this beautiful toy... Not for the moment. We are keeping hope... :(

This is a lot of money for our non-profit organisation.

What can we do now ?

Hope to read you soon,

The factory that was was supposed to build the boards did not do so. They lied many times saying that everything was done, just waiting for one small part or another, but when all parts were there it was discovered that no work had been done. They said they would then start doing work, and could produce 500 per week. After 9 months there were barely 2000, and all production seems to have stopped completely from them.

OpenPandora has fired that company and has been working to move to a new company to produce the electronics. This new company has a much better reputation and is willing to work with them every step of the way. They just completed the first prototype run and everything was perfect! Mass production is supposed to start in January, so we should start seeing them getting shipped out in February.

It sucks that it took so long, but when you're a small company then big companies think they can jerk you around and don't always do what they promise.
