Anybody know if replacement shoulder button springs are available anywhere or has anyone made a replacement using other means? GP32 got dropped and landed on the shoulder button breaking the spring inside.

Have already replaced a membrane with one from a broken X-Box controller. Worked a treat.

do you have a Mk1? my Mk2 doesnt have a spring, the button mechanism itself is a solid device that clicks back up

Buy one from mouser.com or digikey.com, it is a 90 degree angle button.

Must solder to put it in.

If you mean the GP32 then Nevermind, I am talking about the GP2X

Those guys are talking about the GP2X.

TennisBox is talking about the GP32.

You used to be able to get the springs from http://www.liksang.com and http://www.gp32z.com
But they aren't listed there anymore.

Personally, I just used a bit of adhesive foam and some wadded up paper in my GP32.

I once stuck an upside-down button membrane (large) on the foam and it clicked perfectly.
