Is there any way to lock your smc by using a password or something like that?

I think you can put a shiny sticker on one of the round crevaces it has and that should make it read only. But i havent try tried as i add and delete things all the time to mine.

There are ways, but like jilebrech says, the best way to avoid accidental deletion is to use the little round silver stickers that come with them to write-protect the things (pain in the ass though!)

I think I read somewhere that the GP32 itself doesn't look at the write protection sticker, can't test this at the moment because I am at work. If this is the case then the write protection will only work with an external SMC writer. You can always write (and erase) with the SMC card in your GP32.

Also remember that if the GP32 does respect the write protect tab and you use it, you won't be able to delete roms from gpengine, save you high scores, save/alter ini files, make save states etc.!

yeh but is there any way that a password protection can be implemented so i only have access to it?
