Snapdragon 805 in action..

Impressive, I'd like to see it in a Xperia Z2, Z2 Ultra or on a RaspberryPi style board

There's always something new that you think you need to have, but you don't. xD

For now I'm happy with cheap Haswell Notebooks finally arriving. Anyone got the the Acer A720 and put Linux on it?

Not sure what I would do with it.

I'm not doing much 3D Gaming - and for 3D design, I'd still use my Xeon workstation.

I'm not sure what I would do with UltraHD on a tablet... I'd be fine having a stationary player that does that.

The selective focus app would work on any other system as well, just a bit slower.

So, humm. Technically neat, but I can't see that much of use right now, at least not for tablets or desktop PCs.

ignoring that, there's still the evolutionary increase of CPU/GPU power accompanied by various improvement  and new features - an ordinary flagship SoC but exciting none the less

Probably not, ED did not have much success in his conversations with Qualcomm.

Weeeeell, I didn't find a contact anywhere... so I wouldn't call that a conversation ;)
