Snes9x Setup

Hi,

Ok, I have searched threads and still can't get any closer to understanding how to make the latest version of snes9x run. Can someone give me a walk through ?

snes9x runs on the gp2x

That would be freaking sweet!

but for right now the only snes emulator that I know of is made by NK and I don't think its based on snes9x :unsure:

Love to be proven wrong though.

try and use google, it should get the job done a lil bit with its beta translation

If so, you simply have to start the binary

Yep, I just get a black screen

Yep, I just get a black screen

1) Do you have firmware 1.01?
2) Are you SURE you installed the SDL libs? You have to install them from the root of your SD card, and it should take a good 5 seconds or so if it works. I didn't realize this at first and tried installing them from a sub-directory, it doesn't work. (But you get no error message, so you might've assumed they installed OK when they actually didn't)
