If you're a premium spotify user, you're free to use the libspotify library for development. The current version even supports offline mode.

I know this seems ridiculous...but would someone be willing to work on a full-featured spotify client for Pandora based on libspotify?

UPDATE: hm...according to a post on the Maemo forums in a thread for QSpot, it's not supposedly "not okay" to make Spotify apps for mobile-internet-devices using libspotify...then again, if someone makes it for linux and open-sources it, who is responsible if someone simply recompiles it for Pandora...

I have a friend who did some consulting work there and mentioned the pandora and the API, and as fas as I remember, it would be fine to use the API if it was supported (there wasn't a ARM compile at that time.) And because it wont be for any commersial use, I don't think they'll mind.
