What exactly is STerm? It looks useful and everything but I am a little afraid of deleting everything on it on accident. Is this really a program I need or not very essential? Thanks...

Chances are if your not sure what it is, you don't need it. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe STerm is a terminal emulator for linux, that allows you to use the same commands. This means that you can edit, delete, change, open, browse and do whatever else a linux terminal would allow you to do. A useful command is "ls" which is the linux version of dir, allowing you to see the directory you are in. Also try "CD ../" to directory traverse.

Just my two cents :D

remember that linux, being a proper OS, is case sensitive, so "CD ../" will not work :) must be "cd ../" or "cd .."
