I finally decided to do the OC mod explained over at Cobbleware. Since I had about 500 resistors and all the soldering equipment I'd need at work, I figured I'd give it a shot. I used leaded resistors at the recommended values of 68k and 120k. The soldering work was easy as could be and it worked! My non-lit GP, which would previously only OC to a lowly 140 MHz, now runs at a stable 166 MHz in all emulators/apps and goes even higher in specific emulators. If anyone was ever thinking of doing this mod, I'd recommend to just go for it. If you're decent with soldering and can get ahold of the resistors, it's too easy to pass up. I'm on the way to restoring my old, beat-up GP now. :D

Also, does anyone know if any solid lighting solutions were ever realized for the non-lit units? I saw the page Lik-Sang has for spare GP32 parts with the FLU front casing with the light, but they're out of stock. Any other options?
