The Communication Cube

Made a lämp. The front panel looks a bit sad since I couldn't remove the raft I forgot I had turned on in the slicer. Oh well. It's a 12V COB LED on a piece of copper bent into a clip shape. Attached by 3 f/1 m cable to a printed box with 4 AA cells and a step-up converter. It might be pushing too much current since I don't have a datasheet, but a proper LED driver is in the mail.
Next step will be adding a belt clip to the back. I'll probably buy a metal one and just screw it on there. Then I can attach the battery box to my belt, lay the cable through my garments and clip the light onto my collar, maybe even a headband.

Edit: Note to self: Use gloves when handling super glue.

Regardless of holo anime lasses, is Death Stranding actually worth playing? I bought it but have the feeling that you only endure the walking around to get to more story. Haven't played for more than two hours maybe.

I had the same experience, but I read it only becomes a fun game after you endure the first boring part with lots of walking. I haven't done so myself though, so I can't confirm this.

I gave up on DS. Doesn't hold a candle to MGS.

DS a beautiful, surreal experience. But you need to be in the mood. I gave up on it before I re-dedicated my life to gaming. I’d like to pick it up again at some point. It’s a reason to look forward to being snowed in.

So it seems yesterday Russia lost around 1/3 of their strategic bomber airplanes in an Ukrainian attack. I've heard some sources claim they were worth 2E9 USD and some 7E9 USD. Whatever. Some talk of Pearl Harbor.
But in Pearl Harbor some Americans and Japanese died.
In this attack the Russians said none was hurt or killed, and the Ukrainians didn't say anything against it. The Ukrainians say everyone helping the operation is safe, and the Russians say they have arrested people (both could lie, or be wrong, but both accounts could be true if those arrested are Russian negligent defenders or some such).
I'm kind of a pacifist, so even if I can distinguish between people starting a war and people trying to protect themselves and their like, I can't find any merit in killings and attacks.
But I find myself in awe at an operation to destroy weapons without killing people (or other living beings, maybe even).
Maybe there are deaths nobody wants to admit. Truth is the first victim of war and all that.
But if it's true that so much killing potential was destroyed without killing anyone... Wow!.
And those bigots saying now Russia should nuke Ukraine with the excuse of a strike that killed 0 people... Well, maybe we all should spend money in more productive things than nukes.

Gravity bombs... which such ideas I wonder how people found their way out of their gravid wombs.
