And on a different note: if you are thinking about selling your old stuff, like a console, probably the best time to do it is now. Due to the current situation with high gas prices, and years long declining financial systems, people will soon start selling of their stuff to get some cash. This will mean the second hand market will be flooded causing prices to fall. So, if you're in the market of buying used consoles and games: soon will be your chance to buy loads of stuff for a lower price (if you still have money yourself that is).

Anthropic are running a security audit service. Of course they target firms with the most cash (banks). Very clever. Somehow I don't think the end is in sight, unless ai's stop improving. Feels like the aipocalypse we've been predicting for so long.

Looks indeed that it's mostly mobile internet only. In the past this was indeed done to prevent drones to use internet. Now it also looks to be linked to preventing video sharing and messaging. Fixed connection internet appears to still work bit can be restricted. Russia is apparently preparing a Russian-only state approved internet. So they can block all western apps and sites, show state propaganda and monitor communications.
Apparently mobile internet is used more heavily in Russia. So mobile payment terminals don't work anymore, but also some medical monitoring tools use mobile internet. But most obvious is citizens not being able to use their apps, like telegram.
Now it's apparently the reverse. No home internet access in Moscow, but mobile internet working. There's a military parade in a week (without ground vehicles, just soldiers).

Bloody hell mythos is sowing chaos.
So far the advantage is on the side of the defender: exploiting a vulnerability generally requires more time/work/effort than patching it.
Developers will just need to integrate automated exploit-finding to their process so that they can find and patch before attackers can find and exploit.

There will still be problems when the attacker has more resources than the defender or when the software can't be patched but these are problems we already have.

Im about to get me another sidehobby: was allways having lots of fun to play whit synthesizers, KorgDS10 on the Nintendo DS, the stuff they had to try on the local Musik Shop, etc, usually i play a bit of Guitar, so i have some understanding on Chorts and Tones, and this stuff, and i did try a few weeks ago Garageband on my M4 Macbook Pro which is allready quite fun, so im currently waiting on an Midi Pad: Arturia Minilap3, its should be as wide as an normal PC Keyboard, but a bit higher, was costing 95 € and should be quite easy to setup in Garageband, and quite fast to just connect and play around.. .. i know: Macbook and so, you have to write your own midi code on Linux in the Terminal, but well, i only want to play around whit this setup ..

I like synths.

In other news: daemon tools appears to be hacked. If you recently installed this tooling you should check your security.

Well, i had allready some time to try the Minilab3, needed some time until i found the more importand stuff that i had to know (there are Midi Chanels you can change whit shift + key whit the number, and Airpods + Midi dont work, you need cable headphones), im still have to figure out how to use the bundled DAW Software (Ableton Live 12 Lite), there are Midi Lines, and you have first to make them "active" .. , in Garrageband its works allready.. its a nice small Keyboard i only have to figure out how i put in on my table so i also see its small display..
There where a few quirks whit Garageband, like you have to set the Minilab3 Plugin every time you change your Instrument, otherwise the Knops dont work, only the Keyboard Part.. , so i think i try to get me in to Live 12 Lite, also its got bundled whit an Learning Software i have to get me also, maybe this weekend..

In Ableton you have a fixed audio output source. If you want your sound on the Airpods you actively need to change that in Ableton. Some audio output increase latency, so playing live might not always be a good experience. As audio drivers might buffer some music which causes delays (you can configure this in Ableton audio output to).

I know but its actually deactivates the Audio Engine because of the different hz, and Google AI allready gave me the tip to not use the Airpods at all for this task, i have Sennheiser Momentum 4 who are much better for this stuff ^^ I think the cause of Error whit the Airpods got solved, but i have to work me in to Ableton..

You don't need a plugin just use midi over usb. I guess you need to set the cc's for the knobs but they def work this way. Google it. And Ableton has a steep learning curve I wouldn't bother with that just yet.

The "Keyboard" works fine even whitouth the Plugin, but its meant to be for the Knobs.. , Ableton was included whit the "Keyboard", maybe i will first train a bit whit the keys in Garageband, and later when i can play this "Instrument" i work me in to Live 12 Lite..

By the Way: "Keyboard" translates to "Tastatur" in German (the thing whit the Keys you connect to your PC to write text), but Keyboard is also the therm for this Music Instrument whit the Keys, so i this is a bit confusing maybe..

If the keyboard has a USB output, you can plug it into your iPhone/iPad and it works with Garageband. If you have a lightning connector you'll need the dongle for SD-card readers, which has a USB-A port and lightnight connector (as the iPhone probably cannot power the keyboard on its battery alone).

leo.org has been down for two days, reportedly due to a hardware failure.
This is my favourite dictionary page.
It's a rather old school website that loads very fast, has an abundance of relevant entries for each word entered, on-click-out-loud-audio pronounciation for most (all?) words and a lot of brilliant contextual info thanks to user discussions.
I hope they can quickly fix their machines and bring the service back online. My internet would be a sad place without it. <3

Edit: It's back! <3

What's funny to me is that there's stuff in there that has been fully debunked. Like the April 1st 1950 alien hoax from German "Illustrierte" magazine. I've seen 3 or 4 posts about that old story on reddit being posted as new... here's a high-resolution scan of the page with articles that the editors have admitted to being fake news a few days after publishing:
