The "port Request" Wiki Page

Are there some developer using that wiki page as reference? Some feedback from developers could be welcome...

With things as they are (fewer than a hundred units shipped) there aren't that many developers at all. You may have to take a long-term view on the ultimate usefulness of the wiki page.

I would like to see GtkRadiant on the Pandora!! Its a mapping program for many games. I recreated Midgar from FFVII using this program actually!! I would port it myself... If I had any idea what I was doing haha.
I believe that everything that is source related should be here http://www.qeradiant.com/cgi-bin/trac.cgi/browser/GtkRadiant

If anybody gives this a shot thank you very much, but if nobody wants to bother with it that's ok.

Ohh and if anybody wants to see the work I did with GtkRadiant its all here http://s36.photobucket.com/home/Killerx20

Gish's sources are now GPL'd, you'll still need the "art pack" from the commercial game.
But some talented dev could be able to start on a port.

It's late and I need my bed so forgive me for not searching, can anyone tell me if there's a planned port of a Mac emulator like Basilisk II? It's open source and quite old and has been ported to a fair few systems, so I'm guessing it's possible on Pandora. Homepage is here if anyone is interested:

http://basilisk.cebix.net

This just popped into my head and I wanted to put it here before I sleep.

I just came across what seems to be a really neat program that could be a natural fit for the Pandora:

http://homebank.free.fr/index.php

It's an open-source, cross-platform, intuitive personal money management software. The nice thing is that its default resolution is just 566 × 374.

I've added it to the wiki article for now. I'd port it myself, but I just wouldn't know where to start.

Maplesugarlover has unilaterally decided that game engines don't belong on the "port requests" wiki page. I'm not sure what to think myself, but does anyone object? If so, please leave a comment here or in the wiki discussion page (under the topic "game engines"): http://pandorawiki.org/Talk:port_Requests

I don't understand why you wouldn't allow requests for game engines. They need to be ported, same as any other program, and someone needs to be made aware that people are interested. My vote is to keep them, unless Maplesugarlover can justify his deletions.

^ I'm inclined to agree with what Stan says above. For example, things like OpenJazz would fall under being a game engine, wouldn't they? And there are a fair number of engine-recreations like that, to my knowledge.

WooW a DAW sotware for Pandora! Can't wait to try that! A "wonderapp" for all Musician! :D
Only if someone start porting this software... I think that Pandora Creators need to involve more in porting software from that Wiki page, after assembling another batch of Pandora. Yes, Pandora have nice software collection, but I think that I should be bigger. Let's just remember some consoles in '90s, which doesn't archive success, because of lack of software.
The list of Port Requests is great! Have great and useful/playable apps/games!

P.S: I used to learn C++ (not too much, but I know a basics and something more) in school, so if you need some help I think that I can help you in some ports. Tell me what should i learn more and I'll do it! :D

OK
I have a dream (sorry Luther)
To have one of the smallest and best test benches out there.
Pandora
and a BitScope 120
# 100 MHz Analog Bandwidth Digital Scope.
# 40MS/s Logic Analyzer, 25nS capture.
# Dual Analog Channels (4 inputs, BNC & POD).
# 8 logic/timing channels and Smart POD.
# DSP based Waveform Generator.
# Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer.
# Mixed Signal Data Recorder.
# Programmable Logic Replay.
Very nice package

After some reading I find that Xoscope will run BitScope open
and at there web site
there are open librarys and there software runs on a lot of the main Linux distros.

So My question is as I can't wright (code dame I need to work on that.) though I can read the stuff
Is can this be dun?

If it can I'll need to buy some beer, for some one :)

"BitScope DSO runs on most x86 compatible PCs under Windows (98 to Vista) or Linux."

The x86 part makes me believe, that there is no source avaiable...

But what would you say to something like this: http://xoscope.sourceforge.net/

I think it can be used with bitscope too.
