I hope there's a way like SSU or pnd version to update that way, I've invested a bit of time customizing.

EDIT: where are the settings saved for the last xsession? I need to delete it because of the goofiness with the session manager on SD I want to get rid of the terminal that keeps starting on login.

It's in the menu, under Settings -> Sessions and startup.

Tried all those suggestionsno joy.

I wanted to look at the files from ED's latest firmware re-flash bundle. I have rootfs.img, but don't seem to be able to mount it on my ubuntu amd64 box. Is my kernel likely to be missing something necessary?
UBIFS error (pid 17916): ubifs_get_sb: cannot open "/dev/loop1", error -22

You mount UBIFS tools differently... I forgot how.
You can go to http://openpandora.org/firmware/ and download the tar.bz2 file.
You can easily extract that one :)
