Usb Joystick Woes

Hi everyone, I'm having USB joystick recognition problems. I just know it's probably a really step I'm missing on, but nothing I seem to do works.

I have my GP2X (f/w 3.0.0, Value Pack) set up so that the USB Hosting, Storage, Human Interface options are set to ON. I have this sitting in the Cradle, and get active USB LEDs for both my external HDD and USB joystick. I can access my HDD so USB is working fine, but no applications recognise the joystick. I'm checking this against MAME and PicoDrive, both of which apparently support USB devices.

Can anyone offer any ideas on how I can get my USB controller to work? It's a Logic3 USB Arcade Stick which I've verified works... well working plug-and-play in my PC anyway.

Many thanks,

Floppy

When using it in Picodrive, go into the options, under controls ... does it recognize the controller? If so you may need to manually map the directionals and buttons from there.

Also try using different ports on the cradle .. I have to do this sometimes for the CPS2 emu.
