So I have connected a standard USB microsoft mouse and it lights up but does not work at all.

Do I need to do something to activate it?

Thanks

I've only been able to get a USB mouse to work in the USB2GO port with an adapter, then again this was without a powered hub cause I don't have one.

Also, plugging in a USB1.1 device (such as mouse or keyboard) crashes the USB host, and it will no longer recognize things plugged into it, even if they are USB2.0 compatible. The only way to recover is to reboot the Pandora, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure this is a hardware flaw with the OMAP chip itself, since the BeagleBoard does the same thing.

Ouch!

So Bluetooth mouse it is then....

This one works a treat with the Pandora. However if you were going to use a wired mouse there are all sorts of small USB hubs that you can use.
