I have just ordered the GP32 Console from GBAX.
Because it was much cheaper for me to order Smart Media Cards from a local site, I will not receive the cards before some day after the GP32.

My question is: Is it possible to use the GP32 without a Smart Media Card?
I'm not thinking of run any commercial game on it. It's to expensive!

no

comercial games are really really cheap just go to joygp and download them they only cost a few bucks.

i've just bought my first 2 commericle game's (mill and little wizard) and i think they were well worth the money...mill's great by the way

or you could use your......IMAGINATION!!!!

It is possible to use GP32 without SMC but that requires some level of preparations. I do use my gp32 without SMC occasionally.
First you need some alternative firmware like MultiFW or the latest Pacrom (both have PCLink with a GXB execute option). Then you need a tool (DF's commandline PCLink, MacLink or linux version of PCLink) that can send a GXB over to GP32 using execute/run command (this is a proprietary extension to original PCLink protocol). Great for development
