Hello everyone,

I'm looking for videos of the best GP2X software (emulators, games etc.) in action.

I know there have been many posted in threads, i'm looking for the latest ones, neogeo dual core, MAME, Amiga etc.

There are a fair few here:

http://youtube.com/results?search_type=sea...ded=&page=3

But some are out of date or bad quality, I'm looking for videos which will really show off how well some of the emus run, especially the advances on amiga, neogeo, mega-cd etc.

If you have made some can you please post links so I can make a page of them for new users so when people keep asking how well X runs we can point them to the videos.

Thanks,

Craig

I was thinking of making making a promo video showing all of what the gp2x can do, but I just don't have enough time (don't feel like it) at the moment. Maybe once school starts - I think it would be a nice culminating project for TV class. Would anyone have any use for it?

When I read Craig's request for videos I immediately thought of your videos Amiga2000 because I liked the extra production you put into them and the fact that you used the tv out to capture them instead of just trying to point the camera at the screen.

btw, I am a huge Amiga fan too and I have been so happy to see UAE4ALL improve as it has over the years. I still can't believe I have an Amiga in my hands now. I have a couple of Amiga 500s still and one of them I took the motherboard out of its case and hung it on my wall like a work of art so I could look up and marvel at the custom chips (my wife thought that was weird of course).

I also want to say hi again to the gp32x community! I check these forums and the new all the time. I look forward to seeing how the F200 does once it's out. I emailed Astraware and asked them to port Bejeweled 2 to the new device because it looks like they license PopCap games and port them to mobile devices. Wouldn't that be great on the touchscreen?!

Yeah, or you can throw me some raw footage, and I'll edit it. I've been looking for something to edit lately. (Anyone esle can chuck me some crap if they don't feel like editing it either, though I don't guarantee it'll be good. :p )

I love my A500 too. I supported myself partly through college by doing desktop publishing on it with a newtek digitizer (made coupons and flyers for local stores). Unfortunately, I had to eventually sell it to get a piece of crap 486/33. As good as software and emulation was, I needed to run AutoCAD 10 and other apps for engineering classes.

I missed the Amiga days and you're right. it's f'king cool to have it on a handheld. Maybe the gp3x's uae4all will be a perfect speed emulation.

I uploaded a video of my Deal Or No Deal game for the GP2X if you want to use it, grab it here, just under 5 minutes long / 22MB WMV cut it up to make it shorter if you want. And here is a WIP video for Squares which was pretty much the final game, grab it
here, you will probably want to cut the video up a bit. And finally a WIP Round Em Up video, grab it here, you will also probably want to cut out the bit at the beginning in the menus.

I beg you in the name of anything and everything you consider holy to not lock your film presentation into some proprietary crap like flash graphics and youtube. Please consider publishing it in at least one open format.

There seems, what claims to be, a 'walk through' of the GP2X version of Knight Lore on Google video. The end sequence appears to speed up to a silly degree though and the sound is a bit off. Also the player seems to have dozed off for the first twenty seconds of the game.
