* Turrican II, more info see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turrican
All three parts are legalized for free use by Factor 5 **************ADF LINK REMOVED*****************
* Superfrog, more info see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superfrog
This game is still commercial, even if it's x years old, there is no free legal download of it.

Actually, I think you might have that backwards. ;)

Turrican's legal info on the linked page says this;
Legal terms:
You are only entitled to download and use these games if you legally own the original games for the Amiga. These copies are provided strictly for archival usage to owners of the originals. All copyrights remain with their original owners. These games are not in any way intended to be placed in the public domain, as freeware or copied or distributed in any way.

And as for Superfrog, both Dream17 and Back to the Roots (which, infuriatingly, are both currently down tonight!) have been licensed to legally make it available for download. :)

Probably they have changed the licensing, I still have it in my head that Turrican is sort of free now. Well still it's an "official" source and if they put it in a public place... then someone could still consider it free ;)

As of back2roots... they do have permission to hold a bunch of games, but I was not able to check if Superfrog was amongst it.

I guess the main parts of the question, what the games are, is clearly solved and I wont be starting to discuss about their legality now ;)

Never was free. They gave away free downloads but said that it's only legal to download it if you own the original game.
