FGen32 OC's fine to 156Mhz (crashes occasionally but usually fine)but this is the only emu that will OC, all the snes emus & gpengine just crash. Any reason for this?
i believe it depends on the load the program places one the cpu as opposed to the clock speed, fgen possibly doesnt place as great a load on the processor as other programs do at the same speed, if you want to clock higher i suggest the voltage mod, details available at cobbleware
(man, if i havent written this post 6 times or sumfin now, phew)
Yeah I saw the voltage mod, quite tempted but might just wait till I get a FLU.
Has anyone that can overclock to 166Mhz from factory actually tested the output of the voltage reg to see what they are getting?
