Has anyone thought about making an emulator for the WSC? It has some pretty good games from what I remember. Just curious.

Necroing a good topic ;)

This is the best WS emulator on all handhelds that I know. :) But has anyone ever had success in button-remapping? I would so much like the D-Pad being the other "cross" that most games use much more than the default button configuration.
According to http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/documentation/09x/wswan.html :

The "X Cursor" buttons are usually used for directional control with horizontal-layout games, while the "Y Cursor" buttons are usually used for directional control with vertical-layout games.
And I´d like to have it vice versa rather.

To do it, the above text describes it as

ALT + SHIFT + 1Activate in-game input configuration process for WonderSwan pad.
Not sure if I can manage this remapping; will report later :)

Not working. Assuming ALT is shoulder button right and SHIFT is shoudler button left, nothing is happening escept one "screen" around the screen, the rom menu in the background (but not clickable) and the necessity to ESC and emulator restart :(

Oops siorry. I have it! Forgot ATL is on the START button.

So it is FN + START + LEFT shoulder button + 1

Then it shows "input_config1".

Hmmm....

EDIT I have it. Followed all the input from here http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/documentation/09x/wswan.html#Default+Key+Assignments and swapped the X entries with the Y entries.

i was just bewildered a few times when I repeatedly accidently opened windows with "command line" options that I accidently changed while trying to exit those wrong menus :)

very nice now :)
