Ok, I just came back from digital life at New York, and I was talking to these guys at Zipit Wireless who said there releasing a portable Wifi messenger system that will run on an open source Linux (I mentioned the Gp2x, but they had no idea what I was talking about lol) but they were saying how the open source means the community probably can create other things for it as well. Also, the retail price is $150 and theres no monthly fees at all, pretty awesome deal. I can't find much info on it online, but heres some links B)
