Maybe I'll contact LG directly. What's so hard for MSC to get the info which is needed to get it to work for a display they want to sell to us? They're official German distributor for LG displays...

It could also be the clock rate being out of range, good enough for basic commands but not for synchronizing the image.. Although it might be configuration, pandora's display shows various fading patters if you write bad values through SPI control..
