I have my media player on my gp32, and that is working. But when I upload my songs in the '.mp3' extension, they do not work with the mediaplayer. The icon is the one when there is no program to run that type of file....

What's wrong?

Cheers
Alec

I did it the way that that one explained, but it said an unknown error has occured.

Erm....no, it only happens when using the mp3 basket

but if i don't use the basket, it is transferred in a file extension that is not supported

do you mp3s have the ID3 tag on them? Are they 8.3 file system?

Try using Gpdrive 0.5 or the hacked Pc link 1.2 ...

It is? What file extenstion are they transferred in if you just transfer them to the mp3 folder?

What's wrong with that? That's how I store my mp3s and they play fine (I use the k2yaa mp3 player, which is what you should use or maybe GPMAD).

Both the media players I tried didn't seem to support that, where can I get those two? From the downlaod section?

What media players did you try? K2yaa MP3 PLAYER.
Try that one. Remember to transfer the mp3s to the mp3 folder normally and make sure the mp3s have the fields for artist and such filled out.

I bought it second hand, and there were no files at all on the card....is that bad? I just made my own, one for games and one for music....

I put that on the GP, that laoded fine and opens ok, but the music files still have the icon that means there's no program to run it, and they won't open

grrr

When you got the SMC, you did format it in PC-Link, right?
I formatted it, yes through the options menu on the gp32.
