ok, i am getting a bit confused on what people are saying in these forums here. ok, i hear talk about yoyo releasing 0.5 of snes9x. since when? i dont really know where i have been but as far as i know, its only version 0.2 out. did imiss something? is there version 0.3 and 0.4 kicking around? if they are around, PLEASE tell me!

the speculation is that yoyofr will release os9xgp v0.5 as part of the exteneded gbax2004 compo

hes made a number of advances with his zodiac version (LJZ) that can apparently be easily implemented into the gp32 version

im not sure if its just idle gossip or if yoyofr himself has confirmed v0.5 will be the next release

darn zodiac, thats why.... too bad yoyo doesnt port those versions to the gp32, what a tease. but mat least i know now.

tbh i think at the stage LJZ is presently it doesn't really rival the gp32 in any way.

heres merely taken a load of gp32 emus and lumped them together, obviously i'm not belittling his coding skills but in joe bloggs terms that all i can see happening.

don't worry, he said hes not abandoned the scene, i'm sure we'll see one final update.

Again about yoyo... sigh ;)

It's OpenSNES9x 0.5, because he announced a lot of features which have already been implemented (but not released due to code cleaning) since a few months.
In the meantime, he implemented THAT LOT new stuff (biggest advance is the ASM core) that he just calls it 0.5.
There have been no earlier releases.

And the GP32 core is as advanced as the Z core - everything has already been implemented though the GP32 needs a bit more optimizing (due to the slower processor and the little ram) and a lot more code cleaning.
That's why the Z version is out and the GP32 not (yet).

Don't worry, it'll come!

GigaDrive, Fgen and a new OpenSnes. Best time to own a GP32...ever.

I hope, the multitab bug (here´s its description) will be fixed in this new version... I want to play Kirby Superstar on the gp32_console finally!!! :)
OK, i just put Kirby Superstar (Universal Version) and it worked

Do u have a bad rom dump or do u have an incompatible region (I know European games dont work on fgen32)

But dont get your hopes up, @ 133mhz without sound on frameskip 6 it ran about 30% speed
