Yay arm asm god is back. Go squidge! any new big project eh?
The BLU question depends where you most use the GP. If you mostly use it in the dark, and found yourself using the light on the FLU mostly then I would definetly reccomend the BLU.Ok, PPC isn't for me, and I'm now bored of Zodiac devving, and I've not released anything yet !
I've sold the PPC, and the Z, well, I'll be keeping it as a PDA, but doing little development for it. I don't know what it is, but coding for the GP32 seems much more fun.
Now, do I keep my FLU or upgrade to a BLU? Does anyone have both a BLU and a Z and can compare image quality?
Secondly, is FLU firmware compatible with the BLU? I seem to remember something about holding down a button for the backlight?
Don't worry many of us are still reading this postSquidge posted on Jul 1 2004 at 10:40 AM said:Well, for the people who are still reading this thread, here's a short update on what I'm doing at the minute.
GBA DynaRec - Runs Rotozoomer demo and not much else. Project now put on the back burner. It was meant to be for both the GP32 and Zodiac, but I don't think I'll bother with Zodiac support now, so may as well just leave GBA emulation to GPAdvance, which will runs the runs a lot quicker with a higher compatibility anyway.
GPLynx - Still under development. Now contains huge chunks of Handy source code as there's very little in the way of technical documentation out there. Unfortunately, it's quite slow now. Expect some kind of alpha tonight.
