Aquafish's Multi Firmware V5 !!

Well it doesn't matter anyway as aquafish's firmwares are better than mr spivs recently, anyone who would only change to a mr spiv firmware is just being silly as i've used both and say that aquafish's most recent ones are by no doubt the best GP32 firmwares.
Don't forget that Spiv's FW is the FW of choice for developers due to the very impressive debug support, both via GDB and BiosMon, and its rock solid stability. Not to mention 32/64MB support ;).

Now Spiv's firmware and the sassy looking launcher (I like the pic). Hmmm :D.

chaps, just want to make sure I get this right:

I copy bconf.fxe and conf.zpr to the base directory of my SMC, does bconf.fxe autboot from there? (this is where I'm lost)....

After I've ran that, I reset and on my PC I rename the firware I want to fw.bin?

I then copy fw.fxe to my smc (where, base or gpmm)?

Sorry for the noob questions, but I want to make sure I do it ok.

Is it woth flashin at all ive still got the firmware that my gp came with from GBAX i think its about time for a change is this a good one to start with?
Ive heard good things about YAFL but im not sure what firmaware i shud use i currently use windups.

you just have to launch bconf.fxe one time before flashing your gp32, put it in the gpmm directory if you don't have pacrom...

yes

fw.bin -> base
fw.fxe -> gpmm

sorry for my crappy readme, my english is very poor... :(

you've the old multifirmware from mr.spiv when you buy you gp at gbax, so i think you'll prefer the mine .. ;)

the both are in my multifw !!

It's a great firmware and really fast :D I've just flashed the new firmware with YAFL but i wonderd if ther is a way to use longer filenames in .zpr files?

Can this be tested out before flashing using a launcher that handles .bin files? I tried to launch it in Slubman and it didnt work (other FWs do).

EDIT: Just tried it out in the GeePee Emulator, so will flash now :)

how do I change the conf.zpr, I have created a new one with the utility and called it the same and placed it in the root dir, but no change?

I downloaded it twice once with opera and once with Ie and got the new version of winrar and every time I try to open it winrar complains about currupt headers

mfw50.rar: The file "ZPR maker.exe" header is corrupt
mfw50.rar: The file "amfw50a.bin" header is corrupt
mfw50.rar: The file "amfw50b.bin" header is corrupt
mfw50.rar: The file "bconf.fxe" header is corrupt
mfw50.rar: The file "conf.zpr" header is corrupt

It doesn't seems to work by me.

I execute Bconf.fxe, than it says my GP32 is ok and i can reboot, but still having the older firmware from aquafish.
I've renamed amfw50b.bin to fw.bin.

Just flashed it (with help from Ern) I was scared to death, but i was fine.

On the config maker, the bottom option is Explorere. what does that do?

Also, when im deciding on a FXE to load, if i got Gp:\gpmm\mp3.fxe ,
Do i put Gp:\gpmm\ in box #1 and mp3.fxe in box #2?

Can i launch GPCinema directly from the FW?

Ive made the euro FW launch at boot, can i prevent this perminantly, without having to press select??

Press start or launch a file. Make sure you have a gpetc folder 'cos thats where the settings are saved. Full instructions can be found here.
