...Now just to port D3 to gp32_console and I will never be bored on a car ride again

Ive playd it a bit in mp, its funny, but i have to less fps on my shitty box :-(

It is most definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, the most visually stunning game I've ever seen, and a great play too :)
If your in the UK what are you doing with doom 3 as its not released here until next Friday 13th?

It is a stunner though. Totally amazing visuals.

You do need to install this though http://www.gamershell.com/download_6618.shtml

*Ahem*

Anyone can send it from America to here. Leave the blatant crime accusations to PM, please.

On a lighter note, cheers for the gore patch. There definately wasn't enough when actually shooting enemies.

It was intended as a "wink wink nudge nudge" quip rather than a "your nicked sonnyboy"

Gamers hell also do a multiplayer co-op patch but I've not tried that yet as I dont have an internet connection

Unforchunately my PC crashes at the begining (after the scanner thingy) :(
I guess I need a new turbo PC to play it on ......

What are the requirements for doom 3 I saw it yesterday at an electronics shop-seemed very chopy on the machine they were running it on. I looked at the specs for the machine and it said it was an athlon 64!

Doom3 looks great, plays ok and is gonna get me bored after 1 week. Just like FarCry. However it's still usefull as a benchmark.

I'd like to see Soldier of Fortune 3 on the doom3 engine. That would add great gameplay to a great engine.

I've pre-ordered it so it wasn't too illegal for me to download it! :p

It's Half-Life with amazing graphics really, same sort of scripted events.

I spent the first hour in a state of permanent terror but I've gotten used to it now.

Roll on Half Life 2.

It's a pity really. I haven't played it enough to get bored but I'm sure I will. I think co-op, better multiplayer or other mods are going to be the saviour of this game, and of course the better games that use this engine. id have probably sold hundreds of licenses already.
