Someone PLEASE Write an Emulator of the Philips G7000 for the GP32 :D

The G7000 is one hell of a Retro Machine

Need source.

When I said write one, I meant write one from scratch, Or would this be too hard?

I dont think theres any Roms Available anyway :( I Own lots of the games and they kick ass :D 1980 or earlier they were released I think so teh console I have is over 24 years old :D

Are you sure the GP32 could handle graphics like that? ;)

Thats the problem, I dont think the GP32 can handle them kind of complex graphics :p ;)

I had a game that actually used the keyboard. One player typed in a word while the second player wasn't watching, then the word was scrambled and the second player had to find it out. Yeah, big loads of fun! ;)

one of the best games had to be when you were that rockect and u had to use just enough thrust to get to the thing at the top of the screen (I think)

and another good one is when you blow each others castle up :D

Kicks ass :D

I think you could handle the port though. If you re-write the CPU core in ASM, optimize the hell out of it I am sure you could get it to run at FS 1 at 166Mhz. If you are real good maybe even with sound! I do think you might have trouble emulating that graphics chip though, it looks like a monster :D

it would probably be easier to just make reamakes of the games then to make an emulator :D

The Source code is out for the emulator http://o2em.sourceforge.net/

also, I think the Roms are PD now for the G7000

Please Please Please Port it :D

Thanks
