Nah, the PC Gaming Show's not that big of a deal, everyone's just surprised by Atlus being there and teasing an announcement.

I see people on Twitter clamoring for Jack Bros HD, but it'll probably just be one or more Persona ports. Poor Jack Bros never gonna get the respect they deserve.

That was last year. I did end up getting FUZE4, then later they cut the price in half.

They're still adding stuff to it, but coronavirus slowed them down. Recently they started a series of streams on how to use it.

I said I was holding out to see PC Gaming Show stuff before purchasing anything from the Switch sale, but honestly, I'm thinking maybe I just don't want anything from the Switch sale. I have too much anxiety, and I keep thinking about how I never finish any games anyway. The last game I truly remember beating was Zero Time Dilemma, and that came out four years ago now.

I said in the 3DS thread I was hoping for an Etrian Odyssey PC game announcement, but I never even finished any of the Etrian Odyssey games on 3DS, just the first two on DS. It's amazing really, because the series doesn't even get good until number 3 on DS. I was just in a way better mood for games back in the zeroes.

I mean, it's amazing what I could accomplish back when I didn't give a flip. I originally played Etrian Odyssey 2 before 1, and for some reason I didn't know you were supposed to avoid the FOEs, so I spent hours grinding out ten levels for my party and put all the skill points into maxing out VIT. Even after that I could only take on the FOEs one at a time, resting at the inn in between. Definitely not how the game is supposed to be played, but I saw the credits eventually somehow. Today, I'm just too scared of games to do anything like that.

New Game Plus Expo is only a week away now, and they're still adding people. Given their roster, I expect quite a few Switch announcements.

I'm still holding out for info on Etrian Odyssey for Switch. People might say that wouldn't happen at a small English language event, but it's not like we have E3 this year. What else is Atlus gonna be doing there, talking about 13 Sentinels some more? I wanna dream big.

One of those Twitter leakers says Nintendo will announce new hardware soon, and that it will be something unexpected.

I mean, everyone's probably expecting them to do something to distract from the PS5 and Xbox Series X launches. Most people are probably expecting a new Switch model though. I would be pleasantly surprised if it really were something unexpected.

Edit: I'll include a link, even though it's slightly NSFW. I'll make it code so it doesn't embed.

Edit 2: You know, the more I think about it, this announcement would probably be more "Game Gear Mini" in scale than "Nintendo 4K". I can dream though, right?

And just to be clear, I said "Game Gear Mini" because that's an example of a disappointing announcement that we recently got.

"GameBoy Mini" would rock everyone's world.

I'd like to see a more performant, stationary switch successor - an UnSwitch, I guess. But if they do a successor and wouldn't let me use my Switch cartridges with it and wouldn't let me migrate my game licenses, then they could go home and I'd think again about getting me a gaming pc just for gaming. And - damn it - I finally wanna be able to use computer mice in games.

I found out that the Stand for the 3DS from the Game "Kid Icarus Uprising", works perfektly as a Stand for the Switch Lite if you want to watch Youtube whit Charging Cable..

Question. I've got a Fritz!Box as modem/router and LAN port 4 is set to guest mode. That's what all proprietary devices get connected to - like my Switch, a Windows pc (if I had one running...). Thus those devices are separated from my actual home network and they get separate router rules - atm disallowing everything that's not TCP and everything that's not a standard port for requesting websites or mailing.
This way, of course, I can't go online with Diablo 3 nor with DC Universe Online nor with other games and I'd like to adjust the rules in my router, but I don't know, what exactly to allow.
I want to say, 10 years ago or so, stuff like that was easily looked up online, that the providers themselves gave you such information. Now though, I can only find out, that Blizzard isn't operating the servers for Diablo 3 on Switch, but Nintendo is. Then in Nintendos FAQs it only says to allow port forwarding across the whole range or, if you've got separate devices for modem and router, to exclude the router. Via their support site, I told them that's like "Go to a dark alley, bare your private parts, and take roofies." and asked for more specific information. I asked Friday night and haven't heard from them, yet.

So, my question to you would be, does anyone know, where I can get those well kept secrets? If the answer would be game specific, those are Diablo 3 and DCUO - for now at least.

Will your logging not tell you which ports it's trying to connect to on the remote side? Also, I'd give you a caveat, most streaming technologies these days have given up on using TCP and gone back to UDP, because if one packet gets lost in the ether, it's better to omit that packet, and ensure that everything you do get is presented at the right time, at least for things like speech and music. Even if the correct result is the cumulation of all those bits and pieces, I've seen games recently adding those up out of order when there's network contention or otherwise slow packets which to me suggests it can only be using UDP, and that was a racing game of all things.
