Starwars Episode 3

episode one was crappy :s episode 2 more than made up for it... i'm really looking forward to EP. 3 personally tongue.gif

Umm... episode 2 was filled with corny dialogue like "I don't like the sand - it's coarse and rough. Not like you - you're smooth and soft."

I left the theater pretty dissapointed, let me tell you!

Most people loved it when it first came out, but most of them realized later what a terrible script it had... even one of my friends who's big SW fan conceded after he watched the DVD a second time that the dialogue was corny.

yeah the romance was really bad... have you heard of a hack of the film called 'attack of the dub' or 'dub of the clones' or 'edit of the clones' or something... i seem to remember it was done by kevin smith (jay and silent bob strikes back, etc) and then unleashed onto the internet... basically AOTC with all the crappy bits cut out... sounds interesting, but probably too much for my 56k'ness...

incidentally, I think george lucas' 'digital filmmaking' philosophy works pretty well... there are a few sublime moments in the film (i'm thinking of a 2-second shot where one of padme's assistants cries 2 tears, then sniffs them up and is back to normal- weird (but brilliant) moment... )

Ah - it's all escapism. People shouldn't take it all so seriously. Perople worry about it all too much - I'm a massive Star Wars fan, but I liked I and II. Not as much as the orginals, but then, it would take a hell of a lot to do that just becasue I was watching those at a time when I didn't think about special effects and how they were done, and I didnt think of wooden dialogue....

So I'm gonna enjoy III too :)

A whole Army of Chewbaccas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wookies. theyre called wookies.
and i still havent watched the trailer <_< i have no time!!!

Yes I remember that now!!!!!!!!!! I was just excited to see so many wookies!

"You bent my Wookie!" Ralph

"I did it all for the Wookie!"

So, are Ewoks the hobbits of the Star Wars Universe?
