Auxiliary Battery Pack?

http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000520028239/

this article got me thinking: if it's that easy to make a usb battery pack, how would hard will it be to buill a 3v one for the gp32? for how long would it last?

can anyone here with some electronics skill comment?

That battery pack is for things that can get power from the usb port..
I don't think that our gp32_console 's can do that.. ;)

you misunderstood me, i only added the link to show how easy it is
an aux batterey pack for the gp32 would have to use the adapter plug (3v 300 ohm)

oh sorry..
I guess through the adapter plug it could work.. Theoretically at least. I'd try it but don't have enough electronics knowlage to do so..

VERY easy, I did it a few months ago, and the batteries still haven't worn down...

Only cost a fiver including batteries, as well.

why not describe the process then for those of us not so confident in their skills (me, and i actually studied electronics for a year- ahh the shame ...)

pictures would be nice too

Someone wrote something about making one here some time ago, I think, it was pretty simple, just involved getting a battery holder and wiring it up to an adapter plug, there was probably some sort of resistor or something, I wouldn't really know. Definetely possible though. I think it was on a Spanish site.

Yeees, but these are more batteries.

I'm thinking of wiring a car battery to my GP...

Say, i have a busted old Nokia 2100 cell-phone... It's power-cell is still good, and I have a recharger stand for it, too...

See where I'm heading? :p
