Where can I get clrmame mame 0.34 from? The sites I tried don't seem to have it, just the 0.63 version..

Paul
Download clrmame 0.63 and use the mame 0.34.dat that comes with mame gp32 1.0.

put the mame 0.34.dat in the datfiles folder of clrmame 0.63

I also noticed that the black background on the emulator is set too bright (grey) making it look kind of washed out. I don't know why but it seems this is a common problem with many emus. I guess the authors have NLUs and don't notice it. Maybe the gamma could be fixed in a new version?

Think im goin to have to get my gp back off my mum and sister as they sort of took it from me months ago to play columns mario and bounty bob. But im goin to try get it back to try this out :D

I really need 166 now ugh

well anyone get bubble bobble to work yet?

and I can't get Wonder boy to work :( or galaga

Bubble Bobble has copy protection and don't work.
Use the hacked copy Bobble Bobble, that one works (though pretty slow).

Wonderboy works fine with a very good speed :)

wow - mr doh - 156mhz - sound a little crackly - but who cares - franxis MY HERO!!

the GUI is beatific - and the icons in launcher are soooo cute!!

GP32 was meant for mame!

(for those who cant get it to run - it doesnt rom sort - so you will see games that you dont have the rom for - you cant run them - simple - just check your roms folder and remember what you want to pay before you boot her up... I PUT 80 MB OF ROMS THROUGH CLR MAME ( of which own the original cabs of all of them :p ) AND IT GAVE ME 20MB BACK!!! thats some bad dumps!!)

yay! I have contra working at last!!! it seems clrmame can't convert all of the new mame roms (e.g. Contra). but I now have the old version and it works great! (without sound anyway).

Wow what can i say !!!

Having nightmares with the clrdat thing or whatever it is, the ones i've tried converting dont work, oh well

Bombjack works very well with sound at 166mhz
Commando is a fraction slow at 166mhz with sound but still very good
Green Beret and Nemesis you need a slight frame skip but theyre very good.

The older games work very well !

Its great trying all these out, if only there was a place we could 'cough' download any good working games from ;-)

Thanks again Franxis !!!!

I suggest you give us your Paypal account address !!

so where should i put the emulators theres so many should i put it into a folder??? right now its in the mame034 folder...

I've got Galaga to work BUT its weird as you can just about see the tip of your ship at the bottom of the screen. Speed is perfect with sound though

Also the same happened on GORF. You have to move your ship upwards to be able to see it. Both very very playable

Try reading surprisingly the 'read me'

As with nearly anything else out there the main fxe files sit in the GPmm folder. Just read the readme.txt

Press Button R in the game to change screen orientation - you then see everything!!!

Have to say very very impressed - this would be awesome for a final release never mind the first.

Very well done.

Are you a big girls blouse ! ;-)

Yes you'll have many more .fxe files showing when you start up the GP32 but so what ?!? Just find out your favourite games and it might just be 3 of the .fxe's in the end.

Some of the Capcom games (Commando/Ghost n Goblins/Gunsmoke) are the best and so are the really old ones which allow you to run Gorf, Space Invaders, Pacman, Mr Do etc

Space Invaders Sound wont work :( (It works on teh PC Mame) anyone got sound on Space Invaders to work?

Is it posible for the next release to like have 1 FXE that lists All your games and you just select a game and the Emulator Detects what FXE to load up ??

Nice work anyway :)

Dang it I was awake 'till four in the morning but wasn't online. I've missed out on nine beautiful playing hours. :p

I'm just copying my roms over to the smc now and then I'll be able to taste the goodness.
