So What Will The Final Gp2x Look Like?

Well, as long as there's nothing on the assembly-line, they can just program the peons to do something else...

But, it would be fun, if on 18th Oct, someone complains about the color of the battery-casing, and they chance it in the middle of production...

Yes... I've been most impressed with how GPH have been able to change their minds so often - but have managed, nonetheless, to keep in line, generally, with the community.

With Gamepark running things, I always had the image of a slightly senile trio of people who didn't quite know what was going on (see all their utterly insane business decisions over the course of the GP32).

With GPH, I'm put much more in mind of a group of friends who actually care what we all think. Which is really much much nicer :)

Course, they're still making the odd decision some of us disagree with (I personally really wanted WiFi in the 2X, but I'll manage without for the time being), but usually its for a good reason (typically keeping costs down).

Well I don't see how saying it will look more like a PSP automatically mean shiny surface. Maybe they just took it as a strange assumption.

Actually this makes me think of something else.

If they can still make design changes now, maybe we should start asking for the controller pad to be concave.

The Zodiac has a convex pad and it's not good - your thumb falls off too easily. The GP32's thumb pad is concave, and so your thumb is held by it better.

I'm gonna make a post at gp2x.com just for the heck of it.

Really good idea, I also think the convex surface of the thumb pad seems awkward.

Never used a Zodiac pad before, tbh, so I don't know how it'd feel... but if you say concave is better, I'm wth you all the way!

Unless they make the top of the convex one skin-conforming gel of some sort, which might be interesting to use for a while. Until it got so dirty it was embarassing, at least...

I totally want a concave stick. I mean I can live with a convex one for my gamecube and ps2 controllers are both convex. Concave just makes so much more sense.

I dont get it, everyone keeps saying they want the inward curve but I dont see much of a push to post the suggestion on the site. This has come up atleas 3 times in recent months and just fizzles out after a while.

If you guys really want the concave stick lets DO this.

I agree, you all say it here, but we need to make our opinions known to GPH through e-mails or posts on the official site. Come on Guys!
