I'm an owner of the very first gp32, with no light.

How are you previous owners planning on using the old console.

Personally im goin to continue playing the 8bit games on gp32 and genesis games.

I dont mind switching over for emulating newer hardware and playing the new games.

Is that what most of you will be doing?

I've sold my BLU in preperation for the GP2X. I think a few people have done the same but I belive we're the minority.

mine wont overclock.

but i have 4 smc's so ill make a few sets

pc-engine
nes, sms
genesis

dunno what else.

i need to fill those up with a few classics.

no idea where to get pc-engine games, i have most of the nes, sms, genesis games tho.

Whatever the GP32 does that the 2X doesn't I will use my GP32 for. If the 2x ends up being able to do *everything* the 32 can soonish, then my GP32 will go into retirement - but only then.

I won't, however, sell it... too many good memories, and 40 years down the line, it'll be even more of a collector's item than it is today. Assuming media companies haven't managed to make all devices that don't include mandatory DRMed software illegal by then, of course, which for all I know they might do.

For now I'm using it to play the stuff that I'll have to wait for on the 2X. I expect lots of Apps but not all of them are going to be 100% immediatly... plus I'm still working on a VNS game.
