I know Woogal is working on porting Duke 3D. Once this is done how hard would it be to port some of the later Build Engine games like Blood (my favourite :)), Shadow Warrior and Redneck Rampage?

Havn't written any code for a couple of years but my (hopefully??) imminent GP2X might tempt me to start again :p

I may be wrong but I don't think there's no source code to work from for any of the other Build Engine games.

(build is just the basic engine - each of the games in question used a different modification of the it)

There was a long discussion about the blood-source with the develobers of transfusion ( http://www.transfusion-game.com/ ) and Monolith which basicly resulted in the fact that the source will never be available :(

But the game above, which uses the Quake1 engine to rebuild Blood1 using the original Art-content would be probably portable, but it is still quite unfinished when it comes to singleplayer :(

Shadow Warrior source exists, I dont think the others do though.
Interesting. I didn't realise there was source code for Shadow Warrior.

Personally, I'd quite like to get Doom running. With a lot of luck I should have my GP2X tomorrow, and Doom suits console controls far better than Quake, IMO. Anyone know if a straight compile on Linux/SDL Doom work?
