I'm trying to find the datasheet that Squidge, Rlyeh and NK are using to work out the ports and registers that control the GP2X. Is it available anywhere, and if so, where?

These are the documents that I currently have:
db.pdf (673 completely blank pages)
um.pdf (how to use the DEPSS development environment)
tr.pdf (datasheet for the ARM920T)
tr2.pdf (datasheet for the ARM940T)
mp2520f data sheet.pdf (physical descriptions of the MMSP2 hardware)

None of these have any descriptions of the registers and/or ports that devs have been using already. Where is this information that some people already have?

That's the doc you're looking for. But it is not blank :D

You have to download the "korean font package" from adobe, otherwise AcroRead will render all white pages (even if most of it is written in english)

Thanks Oscaruzzo. That gave me some pointers on where to look, but call me stupid, I cannot find any Asian font package to download from Adobe. I was using Acrobat Reader 7.0.2, so I downloaded the latest version (7.0.5) and still no text on any pages. One thing it does do is every time I open db.pdf, it comes up with a message dialog "Checking for updates", then "No updates are available at this time". The help file says "If you try to open a PDF file for which you don't have the correct language font kits installed, you are automatically prompted to download and install the required language font kits using the Updates command." It tells me there are no updates, but still does not show the text!

How do I get Acrobat Reader to show this document? I'm getting frustrated now. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: Buried deep within the User to User forums on the Adobe site, I found the link to the Asian font pack. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/acrrasianfontpack.html for anyone interested. Let's hope this works.

Edit2: Thank Christ! Its now readable. I still cannot work out how to navigate to the font pack download page from the Adobe front page.

A simpler method is just to downgrade Acrobat reader to 6.0, in which case it'll pick up all the appropriate fonts, download them, and render the document perfectly :)

7.0 has a small bug in which it knows it needs more fonts, but it can't be bothered to actually go and fetch them :)
