Got a GP32 after revisiting www.cdworld.co.uk (which I think translates to GBAX.COM) looking for more quality remakes. I'd spent quite a lot of frustrating hours playing Jumping Jack which was great! GP32 seemed like a dream come true so I had to get one. Ordered the GP2x because I can imagine it to be even better and I was getting sick of having no light on my gp32 ;)

Got my GP2X from Evildragon, love it so far .. having a great time carrying around my NES/sNES rom collection .. can't wait for MAME to make its way to the gpx2, though. Bought my gp2x mostly to be able to write games for it; I always wanted a portable game machine that I could write my own code - easily - for, and it looks like the GP2X is it .. look forward to seeing my games out there for the gp2x natively in the next few weeks ..

I heard from a friend I used to play airsoft with that you could do emulation on a Gameboy Advance with flash cartridges... I went looking for flash cartridges and a cheap Gameboy Advance. I came across a little white handheld from Korea called GP32. I researched it. I read the review on GBAX. Then I found GP32Z.com and ordered a BLU+. That was the best $200 I've ever spent.

I'm a Level designer in training at the Guildhall at SMU ( http://guildhall.smu.edu ). I graduate in July of 2006.

Found out about the GP2x from a Slashdot artical on it a while back.

I dabble in code every now and then so I'll likely try to port something to the GP2x when mine comes in... but it will likely be quick and dirty. I'm not a programmer, and I tend to break things =)

I toyed with the idea of buying a GP32 a while ago but never got around to it for 1 reason or another. Was on the brink of buying a PSP when an article appeared on digg about the GP2X... think I pre-ordered that night :).
I now have a reason to finally get around to learning C++ too!
