Hi all,
Used to have a C64 many, many years ago but just can't remember any classics. Can you reccomened any please?? I have hunchback and aztec challenge which to me, are a must :)

Also I have never used an atari 800 so any decent games on that would be good to know.

Thx in advance!!

Heres a couple of my favourites

Last Ninja
Last Ninja 2 (Not the rubbish remix version where they ruined the music)
Mikie
Combat School
Impossible Mission

Just to name a few

thx for the quick reply!! I'll go check out these now :)
c64 classics in my opinion - Uridium , all mole based games , winter games , green beret , matchday 2, jet set willy, Quo Vadis , should be a good start .

xxx is a bit torrent link ,1200 disks ,and 9000 sid music files (im sure the sid player will be along soon for the gpx2)
Read the rules or we might get told off ;)

Check out MobyGames and Lemon64 for the ultimate guides to c64 games :D

I spent a large amount of my childhood on the atari 800, and I can reassure you of the best games for it.

Alternate Reality: The City
Alternate Reality: The Dungeon (The best game ever made in my opinion, truly amazing rpg. Its rare to see a rp to include moral alignment and rival guilds )battling it out)
Autoduel
Caverns Of Khafka
Hacker
Hard Had Willy
Head Over Heels
Montezumas Revenge
Masters Of The Lamp
Rescue On Fractulas
Spindizzy
Spy Vs Spy 1/2/3
Star Raiders
The Edlion

And probably loads more I forgot....

For the C64 I would recommend:

Space Taxi
Loderunner
Choplifter

For the Atari:

Star Raiders
Alley Cat

There are about a zillion more I could recommend but that should get you started. :)

<can't wait to get mine>

Since we're in the subject of the two systems, which one is better? ;) or, which one has better selection of games.

The c64 without a doubt, Though this is an unbias opinion, As i never own either system, But only ever played on a mates c64, And wanted one.

Actually, how the timeline works between them? Were they actually competitors like Snes and Megadrive? How's Atari 800 compared to Atari 2600 in terms of games? Someone give me some quick lessons, please. :)
