Usb Problem

No one ever answers the FAQ or the I need help so anyway when plug in my Gp2x
with the usb and in USB mode windows doesn't do any thing I cant even find it in the start thingy explore yes I'm in usb mode I've tried 2 different USB cables but I don't have an SD card do I need an SD card in order for wINDOWS TO FIND MY gp2X AND TO STARt LOADING STUFF INTO IT ?! :angry: :angry: :angry: :( :( :(

also I forgot to add that I'm usin the batteries it came with (I've heard people have problems with them)

don't use those batteries, for a start.

second, there's an edit button at the bottom, so you don't have to spam your own threads with replies.

edit: and yes, as of now, os s only recognize an sd card, and not the onboard memory. so you will have to buy an sd card.

I know that but I was afraid that someone might have not seen that last part and is there any thing else you can tell me besides dont use thos batteries

I find that it doesn't seem to work with USB 2.0 ports (at least on Macs). I was able to get it working on an older machine that has USB 1.1 ports or using a USB 1.1 hub on my PowerBook.

You have to have an SD card to do pretty much anything, you shouldn't use the onboard memory anyway, it could brick your unit. Onboard is for the OS and the OS alone. And use the <insert abnormally harsh words here>-Edit button please.

screw the edit button n e way I went out and bought an SD card and when I plug it in I get this thing that says u pluggeed a highspeed Usb device in a non high speed port so I say ok it identifies it as a usb mass storage device but I cant find the drive n e where

what the hell is going on

can we just get a confirmation that you are just wanting to rack up the post count without saying anything so you can acheive a higher rank??

if this isn't the case, then it sure looks this way.
 
Fastest method. Get a SD card reader.

But seriously, havea little hunt on the forums, chances are that the problem has been answered at least a dozen times before.
