Had my GP32 for a bit now, just finished playing a game, came back after having tea, and when i goto Games,Smc not ind=serted or no game exists, if i goto MP3 player, it says there is a file error.
When i went on to PC link-host, it says there was an error with my GP32 and it does not read the card either
I try to format it on the PC Link-host, but it just keeps saying "GP32 Timed out"
Anybody got any ideas?

maybe your card is dirty, or it is corrupted.
I guess you are using the original korean firmware, then there is an option to recover a corrupted card.

Do you have a cardreader btw?

Yeah, you'll need a card reader to fix it most likely. There's a small chance the SMC card's dead, but it's probably more likely to have just been corrupted somehow. To fix it go here (once you have a card reader):

Worked for me :) Unfortunately it means losing everything on the card, which is why I now back it up every so often. Live and learn ;)
