Compare this..

GAH how can you not have heard of Black Tiger? This is one of the few arcade games I dropped enough cash into to be able to win it on one quarter, then on one life. :) Perhaps my all-time favourite arcade game, the only other one close enough to call a tie with would be 1943.

I am waiting for this stand-alone BT emu-demo more then anything else on the gpx2 :)

Yes it is Black Tiger but will it be a re-make of the game like was on the GP32 or is it part of MAME? That is the big question.

Okay, solution:

It's the MAME Black Tiger Standalone :)

And it runs TOO FAST with FS0 :)

MAME will run fabulous on this little machine :)

I'm not familiar with Black Tiger, but this sort of thing is always good to hear.

Mars Matrix too? ;)

I wonder if it could be possible somehow to emulate cps2 on the gp2x, but I guess it's pretty much impossible :(

why not, the cps2 uses also a 68K cpu, so if it gets optimized and uses a good 68k asm core it could get almost fullspeed (with hardware scalers, since the cps2 resolution is bigger than 320x240)

With sound too?

How could it run so much faster without using both cores?

What, you were playing centipede in 1993? :D Retro arcade house. :)

i used to live in portland, oregon, and a restaurant my parents frequented had 2 games: ms pac man and centipede.

not necessarily a full-scale retro arcade house, but definitely had some gems.
