yuck, third party crap :p

I remember the N64 Third Party Pads where quite useless their analog sticks where horrible, all of em!
they had a good look and feel :)

at least the one on the link i gave :D

the problem was that in f-zero for example, you have to be very precize with the stick, when you press at a certain level left, necessary to take a turn smoothly, then at that level, the controller reports RIGHT to the N64 :D

that's why i gave mine :D

thats because 3rd party n64 controllers used pots for sensing stick position, the n64 one used a photoresistor or something like that, the sticks hole is a bit too small but drill it out and cut mebe 1/8" off of it and it will fit nice, i will post a pic when i get mine on, need to find a sutibly small drill bit! or a small piece of metal to heat up

Try a brad; I found one that made the perfect hole after being heated red-hot :)

incidently I got that rubber liquid stuff in the post about an hour ago. I've applied some of it to the stick, gotta wait for it to set. I won't post pics as you can't see anything (it's clear)

my new mod :

RUBBER BISCUIT! :D

made from a rubber wheel that burned on a very cheap case :D

GP2Xrub.jpg

you can see the wheel behind :D

of course it's not finished, i'll make it more thin and round :p
but it works! :D
