Tv Tuner

Well, the MMSP2 supports it, but the pins are not exposed, so the best your going to get is a usb tv tuner and hope someone writes a driver for it.

It's a shame that the GP2X doesn't have an internet connection yet.
MythTV gives u the option of viewing tv over a wireless/wired connection from your MythTV box.
Not tried it myself yet as I don't have a decent tv card but from what I hear, your MythTV box can stream/broadcast a signal to any internet enabled computer in your home.
This would mean that u could watch not only the live tv channels on your GP2X but the shows/films u've already recorded. U would probably be able to set your programs for recording using the web interface as well. For me this would mean that I could keep the MythTV computer upstairs out of the way & use the GP2X downstairs with the tv out lead to connect it to my high resolution TV.

I know that this isn't the same as a dedicated tv tuner as u will only be able to access your stream from somewhere with an internet connection, but it's another option for tv viewing anyway & an interesting idea so I thought i'd mention it :D

I think Squidge is right about the USB being the best bet for a proper tv tuner but unfortunatly that's another thing that needs the USB Host enabled :(
