Yes, here it is. :)

All seem minor upgrades, but I like they are getting faster.

Upgrade
--------------------------------------
- Improved photo viewer (comic-view mode included)

- smi subtitle file bug fixed (Font color and Font Face)

- 4way menu navigation

- After bottom-most file, it automatically roll-up the upper-most one.

- Switch the position of SD and NAND menu

- Improved TV Out. Support both NTSC and PAL. All movie and emulator can use TV out function. (You need to compile your program WITH OFFICIAL SDL from GPH or screen may corrupt)

Photo Viewer
--------------------------------------
Enlarge / Shrink image - Volume +/-
Original Size - Select
Fit-to-screen size - Select when Original size mode
Previous / Next file - L/R
Rotate - A/B
Comic-view mode / Comic-view mode quit - From Y button menu only

- Add history function (Comic-view mode only)

That's great. :) Some of those minor fixes are handy.

Can you point me where I could download it from? I just checked the official site and the file archives here and nothing's up yet.

EDIT: Oops, never mind. I saw the news article on the front page. Thanks for submitting that.

I don't know... the upgrades to the picture viewer seem pretty major really - that turn it from an interesting, but not very useful, feature, to one that does what it ought to!

Then the TV out usability thing means we can potentially start to see the titchy-home-console aspects of the 2x start to bloom properly. And of course, minor annoyances - most notably the inability to jump between first and second lines on the main menu and the need to press down every time you want to load anything to get to SD - have been eliminated. And its that type of annoyance which can make the difference between a sensation of polish and a sensation of tack to some.

Comic-viewer mode sounds brilliant, that's one thing I hope to use the 2X for.

Has anyone tried it out? Are comics readable in it?

I'll get one of the office workers to plug in their Korean ID here and see if I can upload it in a few minutes. I've yet to have a firmware upgrade problem, so I'll test it ASAP. I don't have any comics to test with yet though.

i was kinda hoping for an upping of the maximum resolution of viewable pictures :(

i probably not alone in wanting to be able view pictures taken with my 5mp digicam while on the road.

Okay. I can't seem to get access. My Korean office manager's login is not working. Someone please upload this soon!

cool, sounds like they're actually starting to get some work done and improve things... now if only they could get rid of the interlacing bug they introduced with 1.0.1!!

some of the things sound minor but are actually really good, like the SD/NAND swapping :)

Can you view images larger than 2 megapixel yet?

Nice changes in this firmware. The 2-way menu navigation`is bugging me.

HA! Who actually uses "OFFICIAL SDL" apart from GPH?
Almost everyone. Most versions being used are the GPH code compiled with gcc 4 and maybe a few tweaks thrown in. Not sure about the version with hardware surface support though.

Trust me when I say any updates on SDL will work with the TV out soon enough if they do not already :).

As Woogal says community SDL’s have there roots in the GPH hacks but as time goes on the differences are getting bigger and bigger (1.2.9 and the hardware support marks some very big changes).
