Gotta Love The Boot Time :p

Aye, the GP2X boot times have allowed me to do many things... like forgetting that it was on and actually working *gasp*

Hopefully that will all change with a little more tweaking of the system... we need one thing though... source... but yeh that has been talked to death and I don't mean to bring it up now ;)

lol
yup
it crashes to often when booting aswell
so u don't know if its crashed until you realize 10 minutes have gone by

It takes longer than Symbian to boot, but for some reason, watching it do so seems less annoying. As for crashing, so far it has been pretty stable, except with SquidgeSNes.

would it be possible to have a save state on the OS, usually I want to go back to what I was doing before I switched it off.

If you could turn it back on to exactly the state just before you turned off, this would be great.

I fell asleep last night waiting for the thing to boot lol... i found it on the ground beside my bed in the morning

good times

The batteries actually lasted all night?!?!?

Quick, what firmware are you using?

EDIT: Oh, wait- I now see you didn't use 2 'on's... Ah well, I guess it was wishful thinking...

I am not bothered by it. I need my 20-second naps.

1.4 beta is a bit faster, about 15-20 seconds compared to my 1.2.1 at 30-35 seconds, also it never crashes at boot now.
